nope it will weigh more and also it may have shrunk in size since it was frozen.. my b/f had a 22" bass and froze it because he wanted to get it mounted.. but had to wait for money... when he took it out and thawed it it was 19"

no,as soon as the bass is caught it starts to loose weight. Once it's frozen it will still keep loosing weight because you start to freeze dry.

as soon as it dies it starts to loose weight. it will not gain weight frozen unless you fill it with water. it will lose weight and as it thaws will lose more. sorry, should catch and release those anyhow, freeze the fillets your going to eat!
