lol one night me and my pops went fishin out at canyon lake, he was wasted so I drove the boat out to the fishin hole. when we got out there I hooked me a monster of a catfish (weighing 28.5 lbs) and he couldnt hook nothin... for a while at least... first fish he hooked was a bigmouth bass, pulled him off the boat and into the water (he was very inebriated)then he got back in the boat for another go... in which he somehow ended up passed out in his chair... right as he was fallin asleep, he got a pull, it yanked his 200 dollar reel up, smacked him in the face with it, then took off... long story short, gettin drunk with your dad is nowhere near as much fun as watching him make a fool outta himself

My husband and my dad were fishing in November last year when they saw a drunk guy stand up in his boat to answer the call of nature. Of course, the guy lost his balance and fell head first into the cold water. When my husband and dad managed to pull the guy out of the water, the guy stood back up in their boat and proceeded to strip nude in front of everyone fishing that day. I was told the guy didn't exactly look like a male model.

14 yrs old fishing on the hudson river jersey side.been fishing 50 yrs.i caught a small eel man came buy with a little bag.he asked do you want that eel.i replied no.soon after he picked up a stick and skewed the eel.after gathering some leaves he started a small fire.he slowly rotated the eel over the fire, cooked the eel, proceded to eat it.after he dug in his little bag pulled out a toothbrushand walked to the rivers edge.he then proceded to brush his teeth using hudson river water.when finished he thanked us for the meal then walked away.by the way he offered me and my buddy a taste.it was delicious.never saw him again

A guy divorces his wife and when out fishing he tosses his wedding ring overboard. I'm not sure exactly how long after, I think it was something like 5-6years, the guy was out fishing with his mates when he got a strike and pulled in a sailfish with the guys wedding band around his spear-bill. True story! Anybody else heard of this?

I went fly-fishing and caught a dragon-fly in mid-air. Apparently the dragonflies are bug eaters and I was pretty impressed with the dragonflies ability to manuver fast enough to swoop down in the sky to catch a moving target the size of my pinky-fingernail. The little sucker was bad a**.

When I was five years old my father took me out fishing. I hooked a fish and it took my rod out of my hands. I lost my first fishing rod, it was a birthday present a few weeks before, I remember crying over the loss. About twenty years later a friend and I were fishing in the same area and I reeled in a rod. It was the same rod I lost when I was five.

Trolling around Catalina, a buddy had his hat blow off, & into the water. I tied a squid-jig on, & cast out to try to snag it. I missed, but a 25# Yellowtail picked-up my jig.

I won the jackpot on our charter, with that fish. Never DID get the hat back, though!

Um, one time me and someone else were fishing off of a bridge, and a dead dog came floating down the river- it was really sad and really disgusting, I wonder if the owners knew?

Went on my uncles lobster boat one summer, went to pull up lobster trap, and could not get it up, it kept on being pulled out of my hands. We looked closer and realized it was a seal trying to swim away with the line. He wanted the lobster more then me..sassy little beast!

brother was fly fishing, you know the whipping the fly back and forth. He caught a fish so small he didn't notice and kept whipping it in and out of the water for a few minutes.
