Anyone know a few? I heard wooly buggers is this true? Also does anyone know a decent pair or waders on a budget? Ive seen them at extreme prices. 400 dollers for a pair of boots isnt in my budget.

I bought 2 pair's of hip waders at gander mountain.....they only cost $49....I have used hip waders all my fishing days and will not use those chest type waders.....you really don't need them except for maybe retrieving a snagged fly or fishing a real deep river which most fly fishermen don't.....a descent pair of hip waders is all you need......
The black wolly bugger immitates the helgramite as well as the stoneflies..........

For hellgrammites, ive heard a black san juan worm with deer hair legs tied in or the bugger. Hip waders are generally cheaper than chest, but just go on cabelas website and search waders and put the search on price: low to high, there are some for 50 and 60. I know because i have been looking for my first pair (only been in trout fly fishing for a year) for christmas

No answer but I thought you might enjoy this...
I was reading one time and they were talking about using helgramites for fishing. And they guy said he would catch one fish after another using helgramites. Well say the helgramite comes off, if you catch a fish, take the fish off quick and cast out with just a barren hook you will catch one if the fish are biting in that area. Because the scent of a helgramite is still on the hook so the fish think it is a helgramite...
