how has your fishing season been so far?

mine has been decent. i've caught a few weakfish, some stripers, black drum, bluefish and 1 red drum in saltwater.

in freshwater i've caught a few trout, some bluegills, 12 carp and some perch but i havn't caught any bass yet.

how have you been doing this season

Not as good as most years. But others have been having a better year then normal. This is bass fishing. The fish seem to have a different pattern then the previous years. But that's ok. It just takes me longer to limit out.

I wouldn't say I really have a fishing season but I'll just say since Jan 1st. Had a pretty good winter on the redfish and seatrout around Florida. Mostly the Big bend area but I made some trips to Mosquito lagoon, Ponce Inlet, St Augustine and Jacksonville. Tournaments started back up in March and We are doing decent, I have no idea how many fish I caught so far?? Iv'e done a little bit of Offshore fishing in the Keys and up here, caught a few Bass and thats it

Bah. As Brandon said, it's not like there's really a "season" here in Florida, but since the first of the year, I've only been out a few times, and not out to where I want to go, so it's all been catfish and stingrays and undersized seatrout... haven't caught a keeper yet this year, but just getting out of the house is good, and the little one's old enough to go stay with Mimi and Pop-pop for a while... we're just waiting for a day that's not windy when he gets off of work or a day off that's not completely eaten up by things that actually need to get done.



Maybe sometime this week... I hear the bite's good at one of my spots... get out there maybe sometime soon...

This season for me up in the Pacific Northwest BC has been shaping up nicely this year. As of today we have landed 19 halibut in my boat. Between 60-70 Ling cod landed with 43 registered(taken and recorded). Have only caught a half dozen Chinook so far this season but have been focusing on the halibut. Later this summer I will be using the down-riggers for more salmon fishing. Biggest hali this year so far weighed in at 170#. Fresh octopus for bait.. Biggest ling cod is right at 35# as of now. 40yr exp

Lots of California Halibut around and I've caught my fair share.

Ling cod is starting to bite and I've landed a dozen.

Rock cod season just opened and I've slammed limits on nearly every trip.

Striper bite slowed a bit but I've had some epic outings in the last month.

Only caught one sturgeon this year but I haven't really targeted them a lot this season.

Black Bass bite has been phenomenal.

I have caught 200-300 trout in the past 3 months

Did an overnight session couple of days ago and managed 26 bream to 12.02lb so good start however, the rivers are still in closed season until mid june and i much prefer that.

we're going halibut fishing as soon as possible, and revving up for salmon. a buddy of mine caught a two hundred lb halibut last year!! it was crazy!

well considering i have only been about 5 times it aint to bad.caught 16 channels on one trip and caught a couple more another time.been skunked twice though.

I did real well on the crappies, The walleyes are starting now as the water is slowly warming up.

GREAT i go to a commercial catch n release fisheries and i do great. i have only just started fishing, so my biggest fish is a 5lb carp . it may sound pretty small but i was happy. i'm exited whatever i catch !!!!
