Question:
Apart from crickets and live worms what other baits have you used to catch Bream, Bass and Croppy?

For live bait, we've used frogs, caterpillars, and catalba (sp?) worms. For bass, I have a top water lure called a torpedo...my favorite is kind of yellowish green on top with red on the sides and a cream colored bottom. I usually put blood hooks (red hooks) on them and the bass will tear that thing up. I've caught more bass on that torpedo than any worm or other other kind of bait.

i go fishing all the time i use alot of squid and prawns just the basic stuff and i alsways catch alot of bream and i sometimes use white bait (live) to catch bass

I've used everything from bacon to bass(private pond, only way to catch the big-uns 8+lbs). Minnows work well for crappie.

In WI, we use Beetle spins and Minnows in the summer and in the winter we minnows and jig poles.

Live baits are crawfish any small bug(dragonfly) you can find all those fish love bugs
