What is your favorite "BRAND" In general, for each one of the 3 Lure catagories?

I asked this earlier but in a stupid manner, So... here it is again. (GMB, please pick 1 or TWO max of your favorite overall general brands for each section) And Andee, not your favorite lure, your favorite brand for each catagory. In general if you like Yo Zurim then that is your choice. But no lure specific, generally for your hardbait needs

My Answer

Wire baits: J&D fishing lures.Or dead-fish-company. J&D for their handpainted hand constructed spinnerbaits, and Deadfish for their awesome buzzbaits and Rubber jigs (I consider a wire bait)

J&D ebay store: http://myworld.ebay.com/lureconcepts&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID&_trksid=p3984.m1543.l2533

Deadfish company: http://www.deadfishcompany.com/Dock_Buzz-ters.html

Hard baits: Rapala. I like their entire selection and am slowly trying out more and more. So far I have used and owned the husky jerk countdown floater rattlin rapala and jointed shad rap. If anything else, then I like lucky craft as a second choice

Soft plastics: In general, I like the selection of baits from Bass pro shops. They are highly functional and responsive effective plastics.

Just to be completely clear, the favorite brand, in their general selection of lures. Not the brand which has your alltime favorite, but which supplies you with quality selection of good lures you can allways go for. For example, I like Gizit grubs and in general my favorite soft plastics are grubs and crawfish. But my favorite general brand for their selection of soft plastics is BPS's/ Even though gizit carries my favorite all time soft plastic

So answers? Thanks guys!... Damn I hope I made myself clear this time, I SUCK at explaining myself...

Wire Baits: Strike King (Because they sell the Burner series of willow bladed spinnerbaits) I can get them for 2 dollars on sale. These are good spinnerbaits.

Hard Baits: I like Cotton Cordell Bait Bonanzas in the "Rattle Trap" style. They aren't quite the best, but they cost $2 everyday price at my local Dick's Sporting Goods. They catch fish and produce. Got a 8lb'er with one, at the end of last summer. If I had to pick a good expensive bait, it would be Lucky Craft. Strike King makes a good crankbait for the cost, but I think the Xcalibur XR and One Knocker series are better.

Soft Baits: I am going to have to say Big Bite Baits. I have had a lot of luck with their products, and they are dirt cheap. I have picked up a 10 pack of craws for $0.75 and a 10 pack of "Senko" style soft baits for close to a dollar. Otherwise, if you have a lot of money, Yum Dingers and Gary Yamamoto Senkos are the best.

Tell me what you think!

Edit: Andee, you must not catch many fish if you only have success producing with a crankbait. There are many times they will not produce at all.

oh oh ok got ya and you usually explain things pretty good.

wire baits: I answered before I dont really like any of them so whatever

Hard baits: well yo zuri makes my favorite but i would have to say the company that makes the most efficent lures well ummm hmmm I guess maybe rapala only because they have such a huge production of lures. Litteraly I dont know if you have noticed but you go into the store and litterally the entire 40 yards of shelfs are 80 percent rapala and the rest is other brands. Second after yo zuri and rapala i guess rebel and thats really all thats marketed around here thats popular.

Soft plastics: well as I stated I dont really like soft plastics but berkley in general makes my favorites .

well after reading this I have 17 spelling errors and like 1 paragrap oops make that 18.... I could fix these but I dont feel like it and wow..... 152 misspellings

edit: bruce ya I hear all these pros talking about them and We use to use them like 12 years ago and really they suck

And james when you fish where I fish you need nothing more. I catch alot of fish I mean why would a fish bite a reta rted looking sock thing in the water? When I start fishing again I will post my pics for spring fish. This year might suck because my favorite pond became little mexico and every illegal took near everyfish out. I just got to find another pond. Btw if I havnt said this a million times.....when you live on the country side and no one has fished that lake for 50 or more years then theres some pretty big bass in there or any other fish. Honestly I would imagine you get no where near as much as what I get.

Think of it this way if you were a NATIVE fish not those stupid imbred hatchery fish that would eat a peice of grass if you cast it by them.......What would you eat

1. A minnow which you probably feed on alot

2. A toxic sock looking thing

or 3 a hook with a peice of metal on the top?

Wirebaits: I'm not much of a spinnerbait fisher but I do use buzzbaits, probably a strike king KVD spinnerbait or buzzbait.

Hardbaits: Strikeking once again, I love their lipped crankbaits, lipless(Red Eye Shad), and Wild Shiner Jerkbaits, they all work great. I stopped buying rapala's, I never caught anything on them, although I would like to give the X-rap a chance this year, I've heard good things about it.

Soft plastics: Zoom. The Fluke, trickworm, shakeyhead worm, lizard, horny toad... all of them are amazing lures.

James, andee's just one of those people that thinks because THEY have never gotten a fish on a certain lure, they don't work at all. Like fishing plastics for instance... you need patience for them, which he apparently does not have if all he's using are fast moving cranks. Plus he just really has no idea what the hell he's talking about anyway.

Anywho... why you gotta single me out like that for, Bruce? It's not my damn fault I have different brands of lures to choose from.

Hard bait selection 1...

Heddon.

Hard bait selection 2...

Rebel.

Plastics selection 1...

Gary Yamamoto.

Plastics selection 2...

Roboworm.

Es mas mejor, señor Bruce?
